Spins squirrels off!
$39.99

This innovative bird feeder provides a comfortable place for birds to enjoy their birdseed, while its spinning hemispheres keep overly inquisitive squirrels at bay. In addition, it features four flexible perches that allow birds to rest as they eat the seed through the four built-in outlets. These perches are unable to support the weight of a squirrel, which allows the seed to be reserved for birds—and not squirrels! Durable weatherproof design. It holds 3 lbs. of birdseed.

--Shirley Assante, about 1 month agoWe have plenty of squirrels in the yard…and I’ve yet to see a squirrel even ATTEMPT to get on this feeder. I have my trusty camera ready, however…and would love to get a video to send to you.
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: As you may know, we'll send you (and any other customer) $100 if you send us a video of a squirrel flying off of our bird feeder, and we add that video to our website.]
--Diane Porsch (East Amherst, NY), about 2 months agoOur squirrels chewed off the perches and gnawed at the holes to make them larger within three days. Guess we have "smarter than the average" squirrels here in Florida! The company refunded my money immediately after I contacted them. I would do business with them again!
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: The product works best when the hanging cable is fully extended (so squirrels can't reach the seed ports from above) and when the feeder is away from other branches (so squirrels can't access it by jumping from the sides). In any case, we now have better perches that also repel squirrels. Customers can receive this replacement part from us free of charge by emailing care@absolutelynew.com. New customers will receive the improved perches on their feeder.]
--Gail McClure, about 2 months agoThis WILD BIRD FEEDER is absolutely squirrel proof. Believe me I have tried them ALL!! The squirrels are absolutely baffled, but they do NOT give up trying.
It is a beautiful, original, design that will add a bit of whimsy to your yard. It is basically for smaller birds that fit comfortably on the foot rests, the Cardinals are still challenged.
I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a squirrel proof bird feeder! Also Absolute New is a great company to do business with, based on the quality of their employees.
--P.S. Deganello , about 2 months agoIt works as advertised. It took a while before the birds started feeding. I think because of its size. I watched for a few hours after I put it up and had a few laughs. It took about 3 days before the birds started feeding from it.
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: It could take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks in some cases for local birds to be accustomed to the feeder. Putting it in a familiar location where a feeder's been before is good, but birds will not approach something new right away in most cases.]
--Larry, about 2 months agoI think your bird feeder is great! My sister purchased this for me and we hung it up immediately. We were having a terrible time with the squirrels and they all but destroyed two of our hanging feeders. It was a considerable loss (the cost of our other feeders) & quite distressing to see and hear them at the feeders.
Your product has lived up to its advertising so far. The squirrels have been determined to get at it but have been getting knocked off of the spinner part. One actually climbed off our roof & grabbed hold of the line that it hangs from & then shinned onto the feeder, as I told my sister, it looked like a log roller trying to stay on before getting tossed off if you can picture that. We did have one squirrel that managed to jump onto the bottom part where the seed comes down however, it couldn't figure out how to hold on & get at the seed at the same time so eventually he fell off. It took a few minutes for the birds to reappear & recognize this new feeder but they are back in full force & seem to be enjoying this new feeder. I have only had it up for about 2 weeks and wanted to give it a thorough try out before ordering one or more for family in Connecticut that have been battling the squirrels as well.
--Rose Kern, about 2 months agoYou have proved to be a reliable company, and this feeder has promise as i have been battling with the squirrels for sometime now. If anything it will add to the amusement of watching them trying to defeat it this coming season.
--Wayne S., about 3 months agoWhere is it made? If China..I won't buy it.
[Reply from AbsolutleyNew: Yes, it's made in China. Unfortunately, if we made it in the US, it would cost too much, and retailers wouldn't carry it. Hopefully, that will change sometime in the near future.]
--Bill Sinyard, about 2 months agoIs it possible to purchase replacement perches? After hanging outside for less than a month, 3 of the 4 have been chewed off.
thanks
[Reply from AbsolutleyNew: Yes, we can provide replacement perches--and will do so at no extra charge. Just call our customer service number at 1-800-928-4192 or email care@absolutelynew.com. To keep your new perches our of the squirrels' reach, please make sure the hanging wire above the feeder is fully extended. Thanks.]
--Bette, about 2 months agoHi....love the idea....is it available at Target or anywhere else besides online?? I work at Target so I get a discount!!
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: It's not in any stores yet, but we're starting to ship them to stores now, and it does seem like a great fit for Target. Perhaps you can encourage your colleagues to order it!]
--Victoria, about 3 months agoWhy are the perches offset from the feeding ports? Smaller birds may have trouble reaching the seed. Do bigger birds like Cardinals have a chance at feeding at this feeder?
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: The feed ports are actually in line with the perches, and we designed it that way so it's easy for smaller birds such as finches to feed. Larger birds such as jays may also feed as the perches are large enough for them to hold on as well.]
--Theresa, about 3 months agoCan it be used with both sunflower and regular mixed seed?
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: We mainly use ours with the mixed seed variety that includes black thistle, nyjer, cracked corn and smaller seeds. Sunflower seeds work fine shelled, but a larger amount of them may block the openings if not shelled. This is intended for the wide variety of wild finch – larger birds are better suited for more open, trough-type feeder designs.]
--Missy, about 3 months agoHow do you fill it?
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: Good suggestion. We added a picture and video that shows how to fill it. As you can see it's very easy to fill.]
--Nora, about 3 months agoNeed:
Video of multiple bird species feeding.
Guaranteed refund if squirrels destroy it.
Price under $25.
Then I will buy one.
More if I like it.
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: We have added a video that shows birds feeding from it, and will add more species to the video over time. We offer a satisfaction guarantee on all of our products; if squirrels destroy it, we'll provide a refund.]
--Harry, about 3 months agoA little pricey for my budget, but I might consider it if there was at least one video showing birds feeding at it even though I could make a whole bunch of baffles for $35.
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: We've added a video showing birds feeding from it.]
--Stephanie, about 4 months agoIt would be great if it came in different colors preferably more natural outdoor colors or maybe a metallic finish.
--Oletta, about 4 months agoI think it looks like a good way to discourage squirrels, how about a video showing birds actually using it.
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: Good suggestion. We added that footage to our video on this page.]

Love watching the squirrels flip off
I like the feeder and love watching the squirrels flip off. One squirrel has figured out how to un-hook it from the tree, but I can fix that. The only bummer of everything is how to get the birds to start feeding from it. Havent seen one bird on the feeder. Any suggestions on how to get them to recognize there are seeds in there? I have tons of birds in the yard but they're looking for a feeder they recognize. How to train the birds to go to the feeder.
Thx!
[Reply from AbsolutelyNew: It can often take birds 3-4 weeks to acclimate to a new feeder, sometimes more. A little experimentation could do the trick. Proximity to the house and type of seed can be contributing factors. It’s all about catering to the birds; try a seed made specifically for the bird species in your yard, or, if your feeder is out of their comfort zone, try hanging it further away from the house and moving it closer bit by bit.]
