This is fantastic! I've been free from narcotics for over a year just by having this! It's amazing! Within 10 minutes of use, the pounding has stopped.

I won one of these about 8 months ago, and I have to say I LOVE IT. I suffer chronic debilitating migraines just like many other people, and this truly does get rid of my migraine most of the time, and the rest it at least brings it down to a bearable point so I can function (and if you have chronic migraines you know that is awesome). On a side note, I love multi-functional items, and this doubles as a great heat/ice pack for joints, also. :)

This product has saved my life. From taking heavy narcotics, antinausea meds -- they all can make the rebound migraine a nightmare. These meds are no longer needed. I lay down with this wrapped as tight as can be, within a few minutes, asleep and the pounding has stopped. It travels with me, always available. Wish they made ice pack "refills" so you have extra on hand, when the other warms. LOVE THIS!!

It actually works really good because I can move around and do thing without it slipping. I am really happy with it except for the fact that the cold packs only stay cold for roughly 20-30 minutes and sometimes are too cold at first because I freeze mine. I bought an extra 3 pack of inserts and I just switch them out every 30 minutes and it works out fine! Overall I would recommended it to anyone who suffers from headaches and finds that cold therapy and pressure therapy works for them. I like that I can adjust the pressure of the band too. Sometimes I like it loose but other times the constant pressure helps along with the cold. I haven't tried it with the packs hot but I'm sure it would be good that way too!

nice not having to try and figure out how to keep the ice pak on your head when you are lying down trying to sleep with a migraine. I have really enjoyed this product just dont tighten it to much or it will increase the headache.

I suffer from frequent migraines and as such my stomach is a mess from all the meds I've taken over the years. This product is amazing. If I get it on at the onset of a heachache, this takes it right away. I also use it to stay warm walking in the cold. I am hoping it will help to stay cool walking in the summer heat too.

I really like the headache reliever. I bought extra ice packs as the ones being used don't stay cold too long. I want to see if the extra packs will freeze in a short time so i can keep switching out. If not, i'll have to get another set of packs. Other than that, it is nice to put something AROUND my head when i get a migraine, very helpful.

I like this product. It allows me to have "ice" in place to help to relieve a migraine, but to still keep my hands free. In a perfect world, anyone with a bad migraine can just slink off to a dark, silent corner and go to sleep. As a single, full-time employed mother with 2 kids who is darn near always on the go, this headache pack is great. The hands free aspect is a lifesaver. No matter how I feel, I still have to feed kids, sign school forms, check over homework, make sure everything is good for the night/next day, get to scouts, band, sports of the current season, make certain everyone has travel arrangements taken care of, know where everyone is and who is "supervising" them, etc. No, it doesn't cure everything every time, but it sure makes me more comfortable. And if Mom is feeling better, everything works out better for the whole family!!

So I suffer from chronic migraines and am on medicine for it and seeing a neurologist. Lost my insurance so when ya'll gonna have a contest and give one of these away?! Pretty Please?! I'm begging!!

I could have invented this. Terrific for when you have a migraine or feel one coming on. I have had the occipital nerve block shots where you get shots to the back of your skull to numb the pain and this helps to create that sensation. No more wrestling with holding an icepack in place. Cons are it doesn't stay cold much longer than an hour, luckily the packs only need about 20 min. to cool down. Also, when adjusting the velcro just stick a finger in your ear if you have a serious migraine for that brief second. Ugh. For the life of me I have no idea who would want their head to be hot during a migraine attack but that is also an option, that would make my head want to explode. I don't think I could still not use medication, but I think it is a great assistance during an attack.

wow....So amazing to see this product online. I have used this for 10+ years to help with chronic migraine. I was introduced by the Dr. that invented it and bought the day of introduction. Over the years have .where to find another one. It has held up unbelievably over the years and will gladly pay the 39.99 for the new. Original one I purchased over 10 years ago was 50......HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any one that suffers with migraines. Thx to those who have participated in trying to make migraine pain a little easier!!!!

I have been getting chronic daily migraines for over 10 years. I wear this band to bed and it helps me sleep. Sometimes I wake up without a headache, which is unusual for me. You can freeze the packs inside or heat them up. I've only freezed them. It says to freeze for at least 20 minutes, but I would do at least an hour. Usually I put the packs in the freezer when I wake up and they are nice and frozen by the time I go to bed. I like the band because I can wear the ice packs on my head and walk around and use my hands. If my head is throbbing I tighten the band and kind of squeeze my head which helps!

I have been using this product since my neurologist invented this headache reliever. I keep three in my freezer door pockets and rotate them while I have a migraine (you can just buy extra gel packs). By my recommendation a decade ago, the stitching was improved and my new bands have lasted forever. The gel packs can leak after a few years--I reseal the edges in my food saver machine, but you can buy 3 extra gel packs for 14.99. We call it my "headache helmet" and it looks silly while wearing it, but coming from someone who has 20 plus migraines a month it is a godsend!!!

I ordered the Headache Reliever for my wife who suffers from chronic migraine headaches. She often asks me to "press on her head" which means to place one hand on her forehead and the other on the back (occipital area) of her head and press. That pressure seems to give her a brief amount of relief. When I saw your product in the SkyMall magazine, I thought to myself, "That would simulate the pressure that seems to give my wife relief." So, I ordered it. She does like it, but being a petite woman, she says she wishes the closure allowed her to tighten it just a little bit more tight. I was thinking of perhaps trying to order a second set of gel packs to put in to see if the added thickness of having 2 sets of gel packs in at the same time would help it fit a bit more tight to give her a little more relief. HOWEVER, that being said, she really likes the product. It was well worth the price.

I love this thing! I received it as a Christmas present from a family friend who knows my struggle. I've been a migraine sufferer for years and this is so much easier than trying to tie an ice pack to my head or laying down on one. I start with the D-Ring in front as the packs straight from the freezer are too much, but once they are the right temp I turn it so the cold pack is right on my forehead. I'll pop on my eye mask (Bucky makes a good one that doesn't disrupt eye movement Bucky 40 Blinks Mask Ultralight Eye Mask) to be in total darkness and I'm on the road to recovery! I also found that the ice packs were just the right size to hold on my face after my wisdom teeth were removed.

The anti-microbe outer shell works better than cooling pads with the cloth because it doesn't build up a foul odor even after using it daily. Strong odors aggravate my headaches so it was important to find a cooling pad that does not require constant washing. Extra wide which covers the ears and base of the skull that meets with the spine. A high-quality product that will last many years. I now have two of them in my freezer.

I really need to get one of these! My 5 year old daughter suffers from headaches almost daily and I don't feel right giving her medication so often. This product looks like the answer to her problem.

Have suffered from migraines since 1985. I currently have migraines anywhere from 3 to 7 days a week. I know hot and cold packs work but they are difficult to use because they want to slide off the head. The best perk would be if I could cut down on medication.

This works well "as is" and also as a way to hold additional ice bags to your head if desired.

This is a wonderful product. Both my 10-year-old son and I suffer from headaches and this really helps. We have two and we even take one on trips - just in case. We wrap a small, thin towel around it to make it a bit more comfortable. What is so great about it is that you can wear it while you continue with your activities. I can even lay down with it on comfortably. I recommend it to everyone I know that suffers from headaches. I can often avoid taking medications by using this device.

This item feels so good wrapped around your head. The coolness and the constant pressure is very soothing.

I have suffered from headaches my whole life. This works great and relieves my headaches, without having to take pills. I highly recommend it.

Unlike what others have said (yes, I read all the reviews, good and bad, so I knew what I was getting), I LIKE this product. I was looking for a headache relief product that I could use for my migraines and my sinus headaches that I could use with heat (which I believe helps them better) and that I could wear on my head that would not fall off.

This product was made for that purpose. I just turned it around so that the heating pads that you insert were in the front, no problem. And as far as the "crackling noise" complaint of one person - once you tighten the wrap securely on your head, there is no crackling noise no matter how you turn your head even if you lie down with it on (because I tested it out thoroughly to make sure).

However, the pads that came with it don't seem to stay very warm when heated up in the microwave for only 20 secs at a time, so I may experiment with making small buckwheat hull pads to insert which seem to hold heat for longer period of time.

I'm still planning on keeping the wrap though because its very convenient for lying in bed when you want to lie on your side and sleep when you are not feeling well, or if you just have to do things but still have a sinus headache and have to keep going.

I have suffered from migraines for so long that I will not let them stop me from doing work I need to do, I just endure the pain. The wrap will help me endure less pain while I work when I have a migraine or sinus headache. It is a blessing.

The headache reliever has stopped two migraines as they began. I hope the good results continue. I am buying these headache relievers for friends.

I bought one of these years ago from a medical supply store when I was going to be having sinus surgery. It worked wonders for me. I was able to use it when I had migraines and it helped tremendously. I always wished I had more than one. So when I had be scheduled to have a tonsillectomy I started the search for them. I purchased 2 more and don't regret it! I don't know what I would have done without them!

I have three currently and rotate them as they warm. I keep them in my fridge and they are a real lifesaver when you have a migraine. Between the coolness of the gel paks and the pressure from the band. it works wonders. I highly recommend this product for everyone that suffers from migraines.

I bought this for my husband who suffers from tension type headaches. He likes the wrap and the ability to use cold or heat along with the pressure of the band. He does not use all three of the cold packs as it is too cold in the temple areas on the side of the head. He used to wear a tight fitting cap to relieve headache and separate cold wrap. This combines those 2 things at one time.

A neurologist recommended this product to me several years ago. It was difficult to find then, so I am happy to see it available in Isabella now. When I have a migraine it is very painful and lasts several days. This 'headache reliever' eases the pain dramatically, not only because of the cold inserts, but also with pressure, since you can tighten the band as much as you want to. In my case, it did not cure the headache , but it did relieve a lot of the pain. I keep the inserts in my freezer, often using them without the band for other aches and pains.

I was skeptical at first but now I know you have a great product. I will pass the word on!

My son, 12 years old, would get headaches so bad he could not walk after playing any strenuous sports. And they would last for hours. He refused to take aspirin or Tylenol and I was at a loss to help him. When he put on his first Headache Relief Band his headache went completely away in minutes. He now carries one in his school back pack and soccer bag where ever he goes.
