Public Relations Manager

RESPONSIBILTIES:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Establish compelling stories about our business and clients.
• Write press releases.
• Pitch stories to journalists.
• Secure press coverage in the mass media and in industry publications.
• Maintain press kit.
• Organize events for the media, inventors, retailers, and manufacturers.
• Think of and execute creative ways to communicate our unique approach to the public.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of related experience, with record of success
• Strong communication skills
• Initiative and drive
• Organized and detail oriented
• Analytical and creative
• Dependable
• Capable of managing multiple projects and working independently
• Eager to take on responsibility and learn new skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
• College degree in marketing or related field.

COMPENSATION:

You will receive considerable financial reward for increasing the company value over the next 3-5 years. The compensation includes a competitive base and bonus. It also includes benefits, such as stock options, health insurance and 401k. We prefer candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area.
